I had the Peakflow back-up installed. After our 2nd basement flood, we decided to increase our investment for the peace-of-mind that a better built system provided. We can self-test now and the digital display makes it easy to understand if the system is ready and when it is pumping.

We wish we would of installed a better system like this in the 1st place instead of wasting a few hundred bucks on the cheap stuff you can buy, (which we did and which failed and caused 2 painful flood experiences).

Installation process was easy and the folks were easy to deal work with and deal with.

The ultra high capacity DataPump is the exact same system as the PeakFlow iControl, except that it doesn't have internet features. So, if you are not interested in connecting remotely to your system, or setting up remote monitoring, etc. then the DataPump is probably what you want The "X2" versions of the iControl or DataPump means it is a dual pump version. We rate our capacities with 100% integrity. In fact, consumers are welcome to see pumping capacity of our product (and the competition) in our Lake Zurich, IL location.

The DataPump Keypad Interface gives you full configurability, such as being able to adjust how often the system self-tests, how long pump cycles are, how sensors behave in "unique" situations, etc. But don't worry, the default settings are fine for the vast majority of people! Even the many built-in features like float "bounce protection", proper strain relief, heavy gauge wiring, etc. are crucial ingredients for a long lasting, reliable system. Decades of experience go into our products. And, if you decide later you want the iControl's internet features, you simply upgrade the Keypad!
