Q: i am looking at the peakflow i control backup pump system and i am confused about the different options i want the icontrol system with the high gph (>5000) but cant find the system with batteries to check out if it is maintenance free deep cycle
by Harry from Pennsylvania on March 18, 2012
A: We currently only offer the system without the batteries. We do suggest the PeakFlow 12V Maintenance Free Deep Cycle 120AH AGM Battery, model PFAGM31 for use with this system. Please note that for optimal performance, 4 batteries would be required. by Jim, Product Expert
If you have countless hours or dollars invested in finishing your basement, would you protect it with anything less than the best? This pump system is the best. You can have two pumps running in the same or separate sump pits emptying 86 gallons per minute. That is A LOT of water in a short amount of time.
This pump system is the first system that is connected to internet so you can check on your pump any time, any where! So if you are on vacation and don't want to worry about your basement flooding this is the pump for you. The constant interaction with this pump system allows you the peace of mind you have been looking for.
When you purchase the marine batteries to go with it, you can have about 6 days of run time when your power is out. Unfortunately, most places that have basements also have the older power lines that are above ground and seem to go out with the slightest wind storm. Have you ever waited days to have your power restored? 6 days of worrying about your basement taking on water. The peace of mind with this pump is what you have been looking for and the reason it takes the top spot. on my list of recommendations.

AT LAST, A WORRY FREE BASEMENT SAVING SUMP PUMP SYSTEM!
I have been a homeowner for 25 years and have worried about basement flooding for each and every minute of those 25 years! In fact, I grew up in a home where flooding was the norm so I knew what I was worrying about!
I live in a home that is at the "low-point" on our block. All of the storm water seems to gather in my back yard and it all funnels in to my sump pit via the drain tile system around the house. In a bad rainstorm, the pump goes on literally every 90 seconds. It is nerve-racking to say the least. I had a back ip sump pump system that was sold to me as the "best in class." Thankfully, it never went into emergency service. When my home security system needed upgrading, the alarm company offered to install a "water alarm" which would notify me in the case of a pump failure and a flood. As the salesman began to explain the merits of the "flood monitoring" his company had to offer, he stopped suddenly, thought a moment, and told me "nevermind" and directed me to research the icontrol system at Peakflow Pumps. He said it was really the best of all worlds.
Well, I studied the system and immediately knew it was exactly what I needed. I replaced my original sump pump with a primary pump as well as 2 back-ip pumps with the icontrol system from PeakFlow Pumps. My old back-up system was junk compared to what I got from PeakFlow and I couldn't be happier. The system performs flawlessly as advertised! I get weekly text messages letting me know all is well with the system and I have the ability to "query" my system at any time. I definitely take advantage of this feature during severe storms if I am not at home. In addition, when I had to change my internet router due to a malfunction, PeakFlow Pumps came through for me when I didn't even realize I was having a problem! When the router was replaced, my IP address changed and my PeakFlow Pump System could no longer access the internet to communicate with me. I received a call from PeakFlow Pumps alerting me to the problem as they were receiving an error message from my system! They even talked me through the steps required to restore proper communication between me and my PeakFlow Pumps system!
Thank you PeakFlow Pumps and iControl for providing me an excellent primary and back up sump pump system! I couldn't be happier!

Finally, A Backup System That Works
I’ve had the iControl system on my dual backup sump since early 2011. Because of its dependability, I was given piece of mind knowing that self testing was done on a regularly scheduled basis that I had selected and programmed. Also, the ability of the system to notify anyone you chose, by email and/or text message of any potential problems is re-assuring.
I have found that access to my system (Chicago area) via my iPad, worked very well when on vacation in Maui. I have found that the system is quite innovative and I would not hesitate in recommending it to others who are tired of constantly checking their sump system every time it rains.
