Q: Does a weep hole need to be made with this unit tp prevent air lock. by Dan G from New Jersey on April 03, 2012
A: A weep hole should be drilled in the discharge pipe when using any bottom/side discharge sump pumps such as the StormPro. The only pumps that we offer that do not require the weep hole would be the BASEMENT WATCHDOG sump pumps with their top discharge design. These pump actually have an air relief valve at the top of the pump. by Jim, Product Expert
