If you’re looking for a high quality backup sump pump system, that goes above and beyond what you would find in a big box retailer, choose a StormPro 2100DC.
These systems were originally sold only by plumbers, contractors and plumbing distributors. Now you have the opportunity to buy what the professionals do.
Here are some of the features that earned this system our “Good” recommendation.
This system has an output of 2100 GPH @ 10’ Lift. That is an excellent output because you really can’t get much higher GPH with a DC Pump. An output like that is similar to the output of a 1/3 HP primary pump.
Another feature that supports the “Good” recommendation is the vertical float switch.
Since the switch is not attached to the pump, it can be mounted at any height you want. For backup systems, this is a key feature because you might not want the pump to activate at the same level as your primary pump.
The 3rd feature that really sets this system apart from the others is the pump base.
From time to time, sump pits accumulate debris that eventually settles on the bottom. By providing a base for the pump, it prevents the pump from clogging.
This system goes above and beyond what you would find in a typical DC backup system. Now you know why this system has earned our “Good” recommendation.

Excellent product.....the manual doesn't state it but the pump requires a 1/8" relief hole drilled about 2 inches from the outlet and below your check valve or you can have (i have experienced this) AIR LOCK.
My setup has 2 12-Volt deep cycle batteries, Awesome product!!! Keeps my home safe for a minimum of 10 hours when there is no power to run the main sump pump.
