 Be Prepared To Babysit

I have two Wayne sump pumps with the genius switch. I have had nothing but problems with them continuing to run. I have to clean the switch off constantly. Contacted Wayne, they said it is probably the type of ground water in my area. Maybe I should filter the ground water before it dumps into my sump hole. I have owned other Wayne sump pumps and had no problems unfortunately this has turned me off of Wayne.

 May have bought the wrong one

I may have bought the wrong one, the new Genius shutoff will not work in my well. It wants to continue running unless I raise it off the floor at 1 foot.

I have a lot of water that returns into the well after pump shuts off causing the water level to rise all most to the level of pump start up.

I should have ordered the pump with the floating ball switch, which rises above the pump to start, giving the pump more time between off and on.

I orderded my sump pump on line with limited expectations. However the shipping was done quickly and the pump arrived in perfect condition BEFORE expected.

The pump replaces an older burnt out pump and is performing extremely well. Good service and good product.
