Q: Is this good for a 18" diameter sewage tank. I am having problem with the float switch on my existing pump because thetank is only 18" diameter.

A: Most sewage basins are 18" in diameter. Most likely you have a bad switch on your current pump. That switch would work in the basin you have.

 Works perfectly

We just installed the pump after removing two previous float-style pumps that burned out because the pumps turned on and would not shut off.

So far this pump has worked perfectly.
