We have had off and on issues with our old sump pump since buying our house and when it finally quit on us 3 days before a big rain, we were concerned! Luckily I found this model that was cheap, would ship quickly, and seemed simple to install and it has been a phenomenal purchase. Came in the day of the big rain and was able to completely drain 2 feet of water out of our considerable size cellar in just a few minutes. Great buy!!

Have the same pump in service for about a year. I purchased this one as a spare backup. Well worth the investment to have a spare. So far, after one year, I am very happy with the in service unit.

The one I bought is the current model to replace the original, it pumps faster, the original pump was installed over ten years ago and still works beautifully. I purchased the new one to have on hand, just in case. I have not had the new one installed, but once the pandemic is over I will call my plumber to set up the new one. The only thing I found disappointing was the condition of the pkg., upon delivery. The box was smashed and open at one end. I do believe everything is intact, however since it is still in the box I can only hope it works. I did report this to Sump Pumps Direct and their response was to contact them if I have a problem with the pump . The delivery service which I believe was FedEx was pretty careless.

FloTec submersible simp pumps are very dependable. I have used them for many years. My pump often runs very frequently, especially after Heavy rains. I exchange a pump at least every 2 years. At about $100 each, frequent replacement is “cheap insurance “! The old pump I clean up and have it at the ready but I’ve never had to resort to
using it!
