The HydroCheck HC7000v2 Utility Pump Switch controls the on/off function of any utility pump. A typical utility pump requires manual operation and will burn out if it is allowed to run dry for too long. During heavy rains, this can result in having to “babysit” the pump. Complete with built-in alarms, the HC7000v2’s dual-sensor design automatically turns the pump on when water is detected and turns it off when the pump has reached its minimum pumping capabilities.
The Hi-Lo sensors are adjustable which allows the user to configure the switch to perfectly suit their specific application. To help ensure maximum water removal, an Additional Run Time can be programmed using the Smart Button. The Additional Run Time begins once the water has dropped below the lower sensor.
How It Works
The placement of the sensors determine when the control module turns the pump on, and when it switches into the Additional Run Time Mode before turning the pump off. Following the sequence below, the operation is as follows:
1. The pump is off when the water is below the Hi-Sensor.
2. When both sensors are in water the pump is turned on.
3. The pump stays on while the water is between both the Hi and Lo-Sensors.
4. When Lo-Sensor is out of the water, controller switches to the Additional Run Time Mode.
5. The pump is turned off when the Additional Run Time has expired.
*Refer to the pump’s manual for the exact minimum water level specifications.
NO MORE BABYSITTING YOUR UTILITY PUMP:
The HC7000v2 is a one-of-a-kind switch that allows any utility pump to operate automatically and run only when water is present! No more hassling with plugging and unplugging your pump!
COMPATIBLE WITH ALL UTILITY PUMPS:
This universal switch works with all utility pumps! Simply attach one sensor to the utility pump where it is intended to turn on and the other where it is intended to turn off. Eliminate the guesswork in your utility pump setup.
COMPLETE ADJUSTABILITY:
The dual-sensor design can be set to turn on your pump in as little as ½” of water* and includes automatic shutoff.
The low-level detection capability can help to prevent water damage while the easily programmable additional runtime feature ensures that your utility pump has pumped to its lowest possible level.
BUILT-IN ALARMS SOUND SHOULD A PROBLEM OCCUR:
The built-in alarms can alert you to problems such as pump failure, high water, weak ground, discharge hose blockage, trapped air, and more! All alarms can be individually muted or silenced using the Smart Button.
