Product QuestionsAnswered by Jim, the Sump Pump Expert
It says there is an inline check valve not pictured. Is there an adapter to hook directly into the sump pump. Also, I would be using this for a window well and having the pump submerged. Would this pump be ok for that use?

Answer
Thank you for your interest in Sump Pumps Direct. The Liberty model CSP257 only includes what is listed in the product specs, which is:
•16.5" Wide x 15" Tall Perforated Poly Sump Basin
•Inline Check Valve (Not Pictured)
•24' x 1-1/4" Flexible Discharge Hose
The actual connections to the pump, would be provided by you, the customer, just like any other sump pump that we sell. For best results, a 1-1/2” male threaded X 1-1/4” barbed hose adapter will thread into the pump discharge. The 24’ flexible hose will fit over the barbed fitting of the adapter and should be tightened down with a hose clamp.

I have a pedestal 10" diameter sump in a vacation home. The radon levels are marginal in the home. Would this pump kit csp-257 serve my needs for a submersible with hermetically sealed top???

Answer
The CSP-257 cover does have a gasket for sealing however there is not a 3” vent for the radon. You can remove the “blank” flange and add a K001392 (3” vent flange kit) which would be a special order item. You then would have to seal around the floor and basin with silicone, then mount the cover.
