Manufacturer Response
We are very sorry you had a problem with our pump. This is a Flotec Professional product with a 5 Year warranty. You did not talk about the application for the pump but it should be covered under warranty.

This Fits My Pump

After basement flooded 3 times in 10 years due mostly to negligence of maintenance of what was in my pit, I took an aggressive replacement stance. I put a 1 hp mounted higher than the 3/4 hp with different outlets. The 1hp was bought from sump pumps direct. I have the 3/4 hp doing the day to day work. When the heavy rains come the 1 hp will kick on rarely. I replace the Flotec every 2 years and test my system that has a high water alarm (bought for $20.00) every month. I
also change the check valves every year. I live in Ohio and never can predict the weather in the spring. Not interested in warranty's don't care. warranty will not replace the carpet and furniture that is damaged. Yep, its a lot of work, but there is no such thing as an "Ace in the hole"

Flotec 3/4 HP Sump Pump
By Jonathon S.
Adamstown, Maryland
Purchased 05/26/2014 |
Review Posted 06/28/2014
Had my sump pump go up after about 8 years of service. Had to run out to Home Depot, as no plumbing shops around DC had a 3/4 HP Pump. After re-piping to configure to the new pump, this pump has worked great. The vertical float is limited, so I removed and have paired it with a HydroCheck HC6000 (electronic float controller). This pump will do whatever you want. I also installed an AY McDonald check (noise eliminating kind). I bought another flotec 3/4 HP from Sump Pumps Direct, as a direct replacement (should I ever need it - don't want to have to re-pipe in a pinch / emergency). Also tested it all with my Honda 7000 generator, works flawlessly...

Powerful and Reliable
By Steve P.

Review Posted 05/27/2014
I have used this pump for nearly a year. It has the power and performance I need. During our infrequent heavy rainfalls, this pump lives up to the challenge pumping out the massive amounts of incoming water. We had flooded twice before and since installing this unit, we have not. I highly recommend this particular unit.
